Being colourblind, I believe there are many more reds and pinks around in nature than I usually see, but this sky was so vivid that even I got the whole kaleidoscope. It seems to have a child's approach to decoration: splodging every colour in the palette around liberally and without any thought given to realism.
There may well be a whole winter's worth of staring forlornly at the patio furniture ahead, so it's been lovely to have beautiful evenings to revel in...
