We're still in Oregon and did a road trip to Yellowstone Park following the Oregon Trail for the most part. En route we came across Shoshone Falls, Idaho, described as the Niagara Falls of the West. Whilst not quite as big, Niagara has, in my view, been spoiled by commercialisation on both the Canadian and US side, so Shoshone is better as it's still in its natural state, many millions of years on.
