A recent long weekend in Church Stretton, Shropshire, gave us a chance to revisit walks done 45 years ago when we lived there. Long walks over the Long Mynd gave us superb scenery everywhere and can be thoroughly recommended. One short walk up Cardingmill Valley leads you to Lightspout Waterfall, from which you can head back to a pint in Church Stretton or go further upwards onto the Long Mynd.
