I was going to use a picture of some fireworks for this month, but it seems I've used a picture of a bonfireeveryyear in November since I started this site so why tamper with tradition?
I went to the Minch village bonfire and again took a lot of photographs of fire and fireworks. I find it a really interesting technical challenge, and also I love firework displays and staring into bonfires. You can see all of my pictures in this album on Flickr.
This particular picture is, I think, my favourite. The fire looks almost liquid and on the right is a door showing why you close doors during a fire - they are indestructible. I'm sure I'll be back again next year.
