An "airy" move
August
- Anna
I'm attempting to convince my husband of the joys of the mountains. So we went for the weekend. First we did the North Ridge of Tryfan, a total classic and very beautiful. He enjoyed it. So with the wind in my sails I took him up another scramble the next day. Only one grade higher and described as "airy" in the guidebook. Turns out airy is a euphemism for there's a 300 foot drop and you're shuffling on a 3 inch ledge for a bit.
Understandably I couldn't get a shot of his joy of the mountains at that moment. But here's one of him "enjoying" the earlier/easier climbing portions.
