Riley’s Fish Bar in St. Edward’s Bay, Tynemouth is an excellent yet very small (10 covers) restaurant operating out of two converted metal containers. Social distancing is simply not possible in the small restaurant so the owner has spread out onto the beach with 25 tables (industrial cable holders), deck chairs and wind breaks. It was full the day we hoped to eat there - probably need to wait for it to rain!
