January - Pete Fairhurst

A new member joined our menagerie in the first week of January - a juvenile Yemen (or "veiled") chameleon, in the care of our son, sourced from a local breeder we've been talking to since last year. This snap was taken on his second day with us.

He's since had his first skin shed during January, and almost doubled in size already. However, he's still quite shy around people a month in, but does enjoy being hand-fed live crickets!
