In March I got to play in my first megagame-style Warhammer 40,000 event where the bright blue defenders of the Imperium united with other forces to fend off the alien, the mutant and the heretic. This shot is at the start of the siege of Ptolmy, where chaos forces advanced on the walls. The gates were inviolate until reinforcements proved to be treacherous. The gates swung open and the loyalists withdrew to the next position to repel boarders.
