Lynton & Lynmouth, on the northern-western edge of Exmoor National Park in Devon, is one of our favourite places for a day-trip. The walk up from the harbour, along one of the heavily wooded gorge paths to Watersmeet, is as peaceful as it is naturally wild and beautiful.
