This poppy always has large flowers but this year it has excelled itself and produced this bloom the size of a dinner plate, I measured it at 10ins (25.5cms) across at the widest point. I would pretend that this is due to my skill as a gardener but you all know my garden is 80% neglect and 20% optimism.
