I always think trees look beautiful. These 4 (beech?) trees at Avebury have an intricate web of roots as you climb up to them, which is fascinating to the eye. In Autumn, all the coloured leaves, mixed with colourful wishing ribbons add something extra as they ripple and tumble in the breeze.
I'm also amazed how close to each other they have grown. Huge trees, standing together, like friends in a huddle. :)
