The gentoo penguin is a character. They fall over frequently, they waddle, they bicker, they chase each other, they slide on the snow on their stomachs, they waddle. they cross in front of you, they lead you back to your ‘tender’ etc. We have watched them for many hours in the Falklands, South Georgia and Antartica and they have never failed to entertain us.
