Every year I go to the Minchinhampton bonfire night and take pictures. Manyenduponhere. In fact, my first November picture was of the Minch bonfire. This year a bonfire was "too dangerous" so they replaced the glorious glowing pillar of heat on a cold evening with a distinctly less warm laser display. The Minch Rave is born.
Stupid decisions aside, the display was pretty good and gave a different opportunity for pictures. I took a lot, and the smoke effects particularly were very good - in some cases so good I wondered if my camera was at the same event as me... All my pictures are in this Flickr album.
The change was interesting, but I really hope the fire is back next year.
